Lone Star Oaks was inspired by two friends of 33 years that shared a dream of weddings and parties with a commitment and passion to provide their guests with the warm feel of the Texas Hill Country.
These two women drew this venue up on a yellow pad and then handed it over to their contractor to bring to life. Every detail was painstakingly thought out to make sure every wedding would flow smoothly. There were numerous shopping trips to pick tile, fixtures, and those gorgeous doors and mirrors for the bridal suite from Europe. Every item in the venue from door knobs to chandeliers was hand-picked by Mary and Janna. Mary, Dave, Janna, and Roger worked for over a year clearing land and trimming trees. They built fences, tables, an outdoor bar, a dance floor, benches, and strung lights all so the venue would be perfect for each couple. They were there every single day during construction to make sure everything was just right.
More than just a reception site with both indoor and outdoor spaces, plus a beautiful new chapel completed in May 2023, Lone Star Oaks sits on 22 acres with sprawling 300-year-old live oak trees just Northwest of Austin. A place for couples seeking a venue that they can transform into the perfect wedding spot to exchange their vows and celebrate with family and friends. The venue style can be boho, modern, shabby chic, or even rustic with a touch of bling (because we all know Texas girls like their bling). The only thing missing is you and your special touch.

Meet Our Team
Each of our owners and our event team members is dedicated to making sure your day goes as smoothly as possible. Our #1 goal is to make sure your day is everything you have dreamed of. There will always be at least one team member at each event. We are on-site before your arrival day, to make sure all lights are on, doors unlocked, and the AC is running. We will remain there the entire day to help make sure everything goes smoothly. Even though we are not wedding coordinators, we are there working behind the scenes to make sure your day is everything you want it to be. We remain on-site during the event to make sure all restrooms are maintained and trash is emptied. We are there at the end of the evening to clean up and make sure you have left nothing behind.
